Trenching & Excavation Competent Person Workshop - February 27th, 2015 - Winston-Salem, NC

OSHA requires a "Competent Person" to oversee all trenching and excavation activities on construction sites. The Competent Person must have knowledge and specific training regarding soil analysis, protective systems, OSHA Subpart P regulations, excavation hazards and much more!


This 8-Hour Trenching & Excavation Competent Person Workshop is designed to provide the necessary training for participants to comply with the Competent Person training requirements as described in OSHA 1926 Subpart P regulations for Excavations. The course includes an in depth review of the Subpart P - Excavation regulations. The course includes a "get your hands dirty" hands-on practical exercise to familiarize participants with the required visual and manual tests to properly classify soils as type A, B or C per the OSHA regulations.
